Description
Tomahawk converts your ball head into a gimbal head.  It is a more compact and lighter alternative to our Katana Gimbal Head.

It attaches via Arca-Swiss style adapter (already included) in vertical or horizontal fashion (to better balance the weight center point).

If you don't have an Arca-Swiss ball head (or compatible) then you can use the 1/4inch20 threads inside the mounting foot to mount your quick release plate.  There are total of 3 1/4inch-20 threads on the foot giving you ultimate flexibility.

Your lens has to be equipped with a compatible Arca style plate and to mount the lens you simply slide it into the clamp adjust balance and lock it down tightly.

T6061 Aluminum, super solid, lightweight construction.  Smooth as silk ball bearings.

Rating I use it and I find it amazing...
  I have bought your gimbal more to use it with TOKINA...I will do the better photos at end of month in Prague...Anyway I love your gimbal...it is really wonderful!! I have bought the TOMOHAWK because I needed to use my normal ballhead with any kind of lens, by MACRO to something like STREET LIFE, and to change it in a gimbal for a particular type of photos, by DETAILS to WILDLIFE... Very happy to have met this solution,

  I just received my Tomahawk a few days ago. I was immediately impressed by the fact that the unit far exceeded my expectations as to looks and design, it's very sturdy and relatively light weight.
