This ProMediaGear plate is custom made specifically the following Canon grips/battery packs:
BG-E6 - 5D mk II
WFT-E4A - 5D mk II
Since the plate is custom designed it
fits like a glove perfectly matching the camera shape. It also provides
anti-rotation so that the plate doesn't slip or twist. Most of our users
leave it on camera at all times and use with their Arca-Swiss type ball
heads.
It also features an optional removable strap loop that can be removed if desired.

Much better product than I expected. VERY WELL finished, fits perfectly on my 5Dmk2 & BG-E6. Low profile lets me just leave it on the camera. Now, make an L-plate please! |

This plate fits the BG-E7 Battery grip for my Canon T2i 550D perfectly. It works infinitely better than the Arca Swiss universal that kept slipping. There is no slippage in any position with this grip. The stop screw is very helpful for proper positioning and added security. |
