| Description |
This ProMediaGear plate is custom made specifically for Canon 1D Mark 3, IV, 1Ds Mark III. Since the plate is custom designed it
fits like a glove perfectly matching the camera shape. It also provides
anti-rotation so that the plate doesn't slip or twist. Most of our users
leave it on camera at all times and use with their Arca-Swiss type ball
heads.
It also features an optional removable strap loop that can be removed if desired.

I got a Canon 1D Mark IV recently, and purchased this lens plate for mounting the camera to my tripod using the Arca-Swiss Quick Release system.
This fits the body well, and is completely secure. It's pretty light-weight as well.
It was a bit cheaper than the Kirk and RRS products, and seems just as good as the "name brands." Would buy it again. |
